This is a stamp I picked up at Michaels and hadn't used it yet.....I paper pieced the wedding cake with Metallic Shimmer paper (Recollections also from Michaels) and the DSP is from SU (Bridal). This picture is not very good at all LOL....the eyelets are casting shadows and you can't see the red roses on the cake very well on the first picture...wish I had the time to take the photo again but for now - this will have to do :-) I used the beautiful sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday (my 2nd entry!). TFL!

I used the CTMH Liquid Glass on the water and a tiny bit of stickles on the dragon fly. Well you must all know that this is one of my favorite Bugaboo images (Nuts about Sports - Golf) because this is the 4th card I've posted with this guy! I just think he looks so perfect with his "shell" made with the Mosaic Embossing Folder....and the Golf Balls at the bottom are made with the Mesh Embossing Folder. You should check out all the other "NUTS" in the sports category - there's a nice big selection to choose from!

This is the sketch for today's Challenge over at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog. I used Bugaboo's Christmas SB Candycane and i paper pieced her outfit and hat with SU Candy Cane Lane DSP. The XO{heart} is a SU set, called Pictograms. The 2nd pic was to show you the glossed cherries, but I'm not sure I succeeded...LOL I am entering my card in the Christmas in July - week long challenge for the sketch and also at Totally Stampalicious for Buttons & Bows. Today's Challenge at bugaboo was making a card with Ruby Christmas - Tree - isn't she just darlin'? All dressed up for Christmas in July :-) She was tons of fun coloring!! I used CTMH paper, my Sakura pen for the gold accents on the ornaments and the Glossy Sakura pen for her glasses and lips. (tried to zoom in on the second picture to show you) I struggle with many things in card making - one is taking the photo....I always finish my cards when it's late and dark outside and I don't have great lighting so I find my cards are all dark in the pictures....so sorry!

I just love this guy - I've used him before - NUTS ABOUT SPORTS - Golf. I popped up the hat and golf balls. This is another one of my favorite characters at Bugaboo - his name is: Jesse Bear Angel - hug cloud. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and I used a Sakura glaze pen for his nose and ears and a Viva Decor Glitter pen for his wings. Can you see my stars are shining BRIGHT? That's because I am entering this card in the Bright and Flower Soft Challenge over at Bugaboo's Catch the Bug Challenge. I was so excited to use this image when I knew the challenge included Flower Soft, that I almost forgot about the BRIGHT colors! LOL Hope it's "bright" enough to make the challenge :-) I can't wait to create another card with this stuff - it's suuuuuuuuper cool !

Golf and Beer Nut!!

Well you all know how much I love Bugaboo stamps....this one was sooo fun to work with. I popped up his hat and used liquid applique on the beer and then some CTMH Liquid Glass. I also put a huge golf ball inside, made with an embossing folder - worked perfectly! The digi is called Golf Nut (hope it's ok Jodie I had to find a way to incorporate the beer mug since this person equally loves beer LOL) and it's in a section called Nuts about sports, they are all super - can be found HERE. This owl stamp is from a SU set called Goody-Goody Gumdrops. I used my Sakura Glaze pen on the cherry to glaze it up, but you can't tell on the picture...I also included a picture of the inside of the card. See the 2 owls hangin' upside down? I added them! I wanted to make sure to include everyone in the group :-) It's for my husband's coworker who is a real sweetie (very good friend of mine as well). I really hope he likes it!
